Scott Fuller
has been playing keyboards for over thirty years. A
full-time professional since the age of eighteen, this Bay Area native
has excelled in all facets of the music
industry. His musical training included Chabot college on the Richard Adams
Scholarship, jazz/rock workshops and
private instruction from many prominent jazz keyboard artists.
Performing
has always been a big part of Scott’s musical life. He
has worked in all the major hotels and clubs in the Bay Area and Lake
Tahoe in every type of band from Top-40 to
society orchestras.
Scott is currently employed with Hornblower Dining
Yachts as a keyboardist and producer for recording and sequencing
projects. Hornblower is a luxury dinner and dancing cruise product based in
San Francisco and Los Angeles. Scott has been with Hornblower for over
ten years playing in duos, trios and
quartets. Most of his performing has been keyboards with key-bass,
Scott’s highly regarded specialty.
In 1993 Scott was awarded the position of “musical
director” for the annual
IBM “Recognition Events.” This involved rehearsing and conducting
a 9-piece band for a 3 hour
multi-media stage show. Scott also served as musical director
and keyboardist with Warner Bros. recording artist Chris Camozzi.
Studio Musician
is another hat worn by Scott . He is production manager for
an advertising jingle business named Cavanaugh and Company. Scott's duties include writing, producing,
arranging, performing, coordinating
talent and client relations. Scott has written, played and produced music for: Bank of America,
Ford, Adecco Temporaries, Supercuts, Hyatt
Hotels, Raindance Car Wax, Meridian Wine, Monterey Bay
Aquarium, P.B.S. and Sprint
to name a few. Scott's
credits also include an ABC Sports Special for national television.
In 1998 Scott had songwriting and production credits
for recording artists,
Jeannie Tracy (Pulse-eight Records) and Chris Camozzi (Warner Bros.).
His song “Swing Shift” was No. 1 on the
national radio charts for 3 weeks. It is now
considered a smooth jazz classic.
